Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Flintshire. You will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding on Siemens PLC-controlled equipment (S7/TIA Portal) and continuous improvement to maximise plant reliability.

The role requires 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification and an HNC or equivalent in electrical engineering, with experience in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience fault-finding on Siemens PLCs (S7/TIA Portal) in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Experience using CMMS systems to manage maintenance work orders.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair faults on Siemens PLC-controlled equipment (S7/TIA Portal).
• Work on automation systems, VSDs, sensors, HMIs and control panels.
• Install, modify and commission electrical equipment.
• Support continuous improvement and minimise production downtime.
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety and electrical standards.
