Job summary

R&A Consultants Ltd is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a permanent, full-time role at a Bristol site. You will perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial building services, including fault-finding and repairs on lighting, power and emergency systems.

The role requires City & Guilds/NVQ in Electrical discipline, prior experience in commercial settings, and a proactive, reliable approach.

Qualifications

City & Guilds/NVQ in electrical discipline required.
Experience in commercial building services or facilities maintenance.
Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Good understanding of commercial electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial building services.
Fault-find and repair electrical systems including lighting, power, emergency lighting, distribution boards and related equipment.
Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requests, ensuring faults are diagnosed and resolved efficiently.
Complete routine inspections, testing and minor electrical works where required.
Support maintenance requirements across four additional sites on an occasional basis.
Maintain accurate records and ensure all works comply with health & safety and regulatory standards.
