Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a facilities management service provider on a schools contract in Bristol. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified with City & Guilds Level 2/3.
• Knowledge of the 18th Edition.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Client-facing experience.
• Ability to work unsupervised to a high standard.
• Experience as a Building Services Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Lighting (small installation, fault-finding, lamping).
• Emergency lighting tests.
• BMS monitoring (hot & cold).
• Maintain and update log books.
• Undertake tasks in a timely, professional manner.
• Identify and report faults to resolve building services issues.

Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider - Schools contract – Bristol – Up to £42,000 + Vehicle + Package

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to carry out planned and reactive commercial maintenance on a commercial contract across four sites in Bristol.

The successful candidate will have an understanding of facilities maintenance and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This engineer will be working across a nice local patch in Bristol. This position would be ideal for an Electrical Engineer who is keen to progress. In return, the company are offering a salary of up to £42,000 with a strong route into further career progression.

Package & working hours

• A basic salary of up to £42,000
• Monday- Friday 08:00-17:00
• Call out 1 in 8 - £75 standby allowance

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
• Emergency lighting tests
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
• Maintain and update Log books
• Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
• Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
• Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
• Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
• Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
• Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.
