Job summary

R&A Consultants Ltd is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a permanent, full-time role at a Bristol site. You will perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial building services, including fault-finding and repairs on lighting, power and emergency systems.

The role requires City & Guilds/NVQ in Electrical discipline, prior experience in commercial settings, and a proactive, reliable approach.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds/NVQ in electrical discipline required.
• Experience in commercial building services or facilities maintenance.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good understanding of commercial electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial building services.
• Fault-find and repair electrical systems including lighting, power, emergency lighting, distribution boards and related equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requests, ensuring faults are diagnosed and resolved efficiently.
• Complete routine inspections, testing and minor electrical works where required.
• Support maintenance requirements across four additional sites on an occasional basis.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all works comply with health & safety and regulatory standards.

Salary: £42,000 per annum + Overtime

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
