Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a large automated distribution facility near Birmingham. The role focuses on planning and executing preventative maintenance on automated equipment and reacting to faults to maximise uptime.

You will join a small engineering team, work permanent night shifts, and have opportunities for technical development and progression into senior engineering or leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial environment.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering.
• Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Comfortable working permanent night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance on automated equipment.
• Fault finding and breakdown repairs to minimise downtime.
• Take ownership of planned maintenance activities within a small team.
• Contribute to ongoing reliability improvements for equipment.
