Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a busy UK manufacturing site to support safe, efficient electrical maintenance and continuous reliability improvements.

The role reports to the Operations Manager and requires hands-on fault diagnosis, planned/reactive maintenance, and collaboration with operations, mechanical, automation and engineering teams to uphold high safety and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification and/or apprenticeship.
• Experience in an industrial, manufacturing or production setting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical docs.
• Experience in preventative maintenance programmes and fault finding in live production environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and practical hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture with compliance to policies and legislation.
• Support day-to-day activities of the electrical maintenance team.
• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Provide hands-on fault diagnosis and rectification of electrical issues.
• Support preventative maintenance programmes and continuous reliability improvements.
• Complete electrical documentation, permits, inspections and maintenance records accurately.
• Assist with plant upgrades, projects and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Identify recurring faults and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Communicate with operations, mechanical, automation and engineering teams.
• Follow company policies, procedures and standards.
