Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site. You will work in a team of 15 engineers to keep downtime to a minimum and support production with reliable maintenance.

You’ll perform Planned Preventative Maintenance, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, handle PLC troubleshooting (Siemens & Allen-Bradley), assist upgrades and installations, and uphold health and safety standards on modern and legacy equipment.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled engineer with a 70/30 electrical bias (moving toward 60/40).
• Strong electrical fault-finding including PLC I/O diagnostics & networked systems.
• Mechanical competence across hydraulics and pneumatics; gears, shafts and drives.
• Experience in heavier engineering or industrial manufacturing.
• Able to work independently and in a team to resolve breakdowns efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) and condition monitoring.
• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding on production equipment.
• PLC fault diagnosis (Siemens & Allen Bradley).
• Supporting planned upgrades, installations, and improvement projects.
• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues raised by production operatives.
• Working safely and supporting site Health & Safety standards.
• Maintaining uptime across automated and semi-automated processes.
