Job summary

Yolk Recruitment is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in the United Kingdom. The role is based on a Monday to Friday double-day shift (6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm) in Ewyas Harold, with a salary of £45,000–£48,000 and a bonus potential.

You will identify failures, diagnose and repair equipment, liaise with day teams, manage spares, and perform preventive maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

Apprenticeship completed as a Maintenance Engineer.
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
Experience in manufacturing environments.
Ability to work under pressure and report accurately.

Responsibilities

Identify failure modes of plant equipment and return to operation safely.
Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns.
Liaise with engineering day teams to resolve long-term issues.
Locate spare parts using the maintenance management system.
Identify failure modes of electrical equipment and prevent further failures.
Record maintenance work and feed back through the system.
Carry out preventive maintenance in line with scheduling.
Collaborate with other Electrical Maintenance Engineers to complete PM tasks.
