Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd in Warminster is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join a manufacturing company focused on sustainable packaging solutions. You will provide electrical and mechanical maintenance, support setup/changeovers, and drive continuous improvement.

The role offers £44,000–£46,000 plus enhanced overtime and a quarterly bonus, with 30 days holiday and a pension. Working Monday to Friday, with dayshift options (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, or 8am-4pm), you will be part of a

Qualifications

Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, drives, and controllers.
Troubleshooting skills for electrical/electronic issues on production machinery.

Responsibilities

Providing electrical and mechanical support to operators during setup and changeovers.
Conducting preventative maintenance and responding to repairs to minimise downtime.
Repairing electrical components such as motors, drives, and controllers.
Maintaining gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, and packaging machinery.
Supporting health & safety practices and participating in continuous improvement initiatives, where employee ideas and suggestions are actively listened to and encouraged.
