Job summary

Yolk Recruitment is supporting an established manufacturing business near Chard with the recruitment of an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. If you're electrically qualified to Level 3 and have fault-finding experience, we'd like to speak with you.

This role offers a Monday to Friday double day shift pattern, no night shifts, with enhanced overtime opportunities and 33 days holiday. Salary up to £44,000 plus benefits, plus pension and life assurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 electrical qualification and practical fault-finding experience.
• Experience with three-phase motors, control panels and inverters.
• Able to read electrical drawings and use testing equipment.
• Willingness to perform mechanical maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and improve production machinery and electrical equipment.
• Electrical fault finding and repairs across industrial machinery.
• Diagnose faults in motors, inverters, drives, relays and control panels.
• Read schematics and use testing equipment to locate faults; carry out preventative maintenance.
• Support mechanical maintenance and equipment upgrades.
• Work with engineering and production to minimise downtime.
