Pioneer Selection are assisting a market‑leading manufacturer in recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for their site in Wigan. The role focuses on electrical maintenance on fully automated production machinery, with emphasis on fault finding and preventative maintenance.

You will work a shift pattern of days and nights and join a team committed to uptime, reliability and continuous improvement. A recognised engineering qualification and industrial maintenance experience are required.

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Wigan

Salary: £49,000

Job Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault‑finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of fully automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.

Non‑Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.
• Engineering Qualification

Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Hands‑on electrical fault‑finding experience.
• Recognised electrical engineering qualification.
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Desirable Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
