Recruit4staff is proud to represent their client, a leading manufacturing company, in their search for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work at their facility in Telford.

For the successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer, our client offers:

• Salary of £46,181 per annum
• 4-week rotational shift pattern (Days & Nights), 12-hour shifts (8am - 8pm/8pm - 8am)
• Permanent position
• Canteen facilities on site
• Free parking
• 6.6 weeks annual leave

Role Responsibilities:

• Maintain machinery to ensure optimal functionality
• Attend breakdowns, diagnose, and repair equipment using appropriate test equipment and tools
• Complete all electrical maintenance tasks on time and in full
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance and develop new processes to resolve faults and inefficiencies
• Use a CMMS system for stock management and work orders
• Participate in a 5-week cover rotation with other shift Electricians, potentially twice per year

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in an electrical manufacturing environment (ESSENTIAL)
• Higher diploma/NVQ in Electrical Engineering (ESSENTIAL)
• 17th or 18th Edition certification (ESSENTIAL)
• Ability to quickly identify root causes
• Experience interpreting technical drawings (ESSENTIAL)
• H&S qualification such as IOSH/NEBOSH (DESIRABLE)
• FLT license (DESIRABLE)
• IPAF certification (DESIRABLE)
