Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Heavy Industrial Manufacturing, Cheshire

Salary: GBP40,000 - GBP49,000 DOE + additional earnings (potentially GBP50k - GBP60k with overtime, projects, and callouts)

About the Company

Our client is an established independent agriculture business, specializing in animal and livestock feed manufacturing with centuries of experience. They are looking for a Maintenance Electrical Engineer to join their team due to ongoing growth.

You will be part of a small, close-knit team responsible for maintenance across multiple milling and processing sites in Cheshire. The company is family-owned, with a strong culture and opportunities for additional earnings through overtime, projects, and callouts.

Work Schedule

This is a shift role requiring flexibility:

• Week 1: Mon - Fri (Early)
• Week 2: Mon - Fri (Late)
• Week 3: Wed - Sun (Day)

Requirements

• Completed apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering
• 17th/18th Edition Regulations qualification
• Familiarity with industrial environments

Responsibilities

• Electrical maintenance across 5 sites in Cheshire
• Performing PPM, reactive, and breakdown repairs
• Involvement in CAPEX projects, including new equipment, PLC upgrades, and net-zero initiatives
• Working on motors, pumps, conveyors, mills, and other heavy process equipment
• Knowledge of coding industrial PLCs
• Handling electrical systems 11kV and above
