Are you an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer from a Heavy Industry Background?

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a niche manufacturer that is a market leader in its industry. The company values its staff highly and invests in their development, offering ongoing career progression within a global organization.

This role is ideal for electrical maintenance engineers with a strong background in manufacturing, particularly those experienced in heavy industries such as metal works, steel works/steel processing, foundries, or brickworks. Candidates who are apprentice trained, time served, or have equivalent experience are encouraged to apply. 18th Edition certification is advantageous.

Reporting to the Electrical Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for electrical maintenance within a large manufacturing facility. Your duties will include reactive and preventive maintenance on a variety of heavy production machinery, such as induction furnaces, automated casting lines, milling, rolling, annealing, pickling and slitting lines, conveyors, pump systems, AC/DC motors, contactors, relays, switches, sensors, solenoids, distribution boards, inverters, and overhead cranes. You will primarily work with Siemens S5/S7 PLC systems and be involved in continuous improvement projects and facilities maintenance as needed.

This position offers a varied role within a supportive team environment, with high earning potential through overtime paid at premium rates. You will work in a state-of-the-art rolling mill facility and have opportunities for ongoing training and development.
