The Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you'll provide operational facilities maintenance support to the Babcock vehicle engineering site. Your responsibilities include:

• Participating in a wide range of facilities maintenance activities, including electrical work such as testing, inspection, and stock control.
• Carrying out planned maintenance activities.
• Fault finding and making safe operations on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Processing reactive maintenance requests efficiently.
• Raising corrective work orders and monitoring progress.
• Updating systems to support Facilities Management activities.

This role involves manual work, including lifting, bending, using tools, and standing for extended periods. It is based on-site in Walsall, full-time (40 hours/week).

Essential Experience

• Strong knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical Repair and Overhaul activities.
• Understanding of relevant statutory regulations.
• Qualifications: 18th Edition (C&G 2382-22), Test and Inspection (C&G 2391).

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) and NPPV security clearance.
