Job summary

Marshalls plc in Goole (Pollington area) is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure the continuous running of the production line through proactive fault finding and maintenance of electrical equipment.

You should have time-served qualifications (ideally NVQ 3) and be familiar with 18th edition wiring regulations, PLC fault finding, robotics, conveyors and reading technical drawings.

On-site role with benefits and a clear path for development within Marshalls’ engineering community.

Qualifications

• Qualified, time-served in a similar position (ideally NVQ3).
• Apprentice trained with 18th edition wiring regs ideal.
• Experience with PLC fault finding, robotics and automated plant.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous running of the production process and reduce downtime.
• Fault finding and maintenance of electrical systems on site.
• Reactive and planned maintenance of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors and related machinery.

So, what's the mission?

Working as part of the team, your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating engineering downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment reactive engineering activities on site.

What are the mission critical skills?

• A strong electrical working knowledge with some mechanical experience
• The ideal applicant will be a qualified, time served in a similar position ideally at NVQ 3 level
• Ideally apprentice trained and qualified to the 18th edition wiring regulations
• PLC fault finding skills would be a distinct advantage
• Working knowledge of robots and automated process plant & machinery
• Experience in mechanical fitting, welding, fabrication and general machining would be an advantage
• Experienced in reactive and planned maintenance of electrical systems controlling hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors (belts, chain, rollers, bearings, gear boxes, motors etc.), and able to read technical drawings
