Electrical Engineer

Yolk Recruitment is actively working with a world leading specialist manufacturer in Pontypool, experiencing exponential growth and planning significant investment in 2025. They are seeking an Electrically Bias Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

As an Electrical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining and repairing equipment according to schedules and specifications to ensure reliability and minimize breakdowns, including testing, fault finding, and repairs.
• Identifying recurring equipment problems and implementing corrective actions through root cause analysis.
• Completing machine installation and commissioning.
• Fault finding on PLC systems, including Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley.
• Maintaining tools and repair equipment to ensure they are fit for purpose.
• Supporting continuous improvement activities on site.

The experience you will bring:

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or HNC equivalent.
• Apprentice-trained, time-served Multiskilled Engineer.

What you will receive:

If appointed as a Multiskilled Engineer, you will receive a salary up to £42,000, with benefits and the opportunity to increase your salary to £44,000 through competency-based training. The company offers career development opportunities and support for further education.
