Job Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a background in food or agriculture engineering or maintenance. The role involves 70% electrical and 30% mechanical tasks, with knowledge of process controls (Siemens or Allen Bradley), PLCs, and 18th edition wiring standards being desirable.

Responsibilities

1. Carry out daily maintenance including greasing, inspection, and repair of processing equipment.
2. Update maintenance records accurately.
3. Assist with breakdowns, repairs, and projects as needed.
4. Identify training needs and inform management.
5. Maintain tools and equipment, manage spare parts inventory.
6. Sign for supplier deliveries as authorized.
7. Ensure health & safety compliance and maintain a tidy work environment.
8. Perform other tasks delegated by management.

Requirements

• Experience in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance, electrical preferred.
• Basic computer literacy and clerical skills.
• Driving license.
• Health record indicating fitness for the role.

Working Conditions and Benefits

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00-16:00.
• On-call every other week/3 weeks, with minimum pay for 3 hours per call.
• Pension, free parking, 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays, birthday leave after probation.
