Qualifications

Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Blackwood

Yolk Recruitment is currently working on behalf of a growing manufacturer that has signed a long-term contract to supply into the UK’s biggest names. With significant investments in 2024 and future plans for 2025/2026, they are looking to recruit additional Electrical Maintenance Engineers to join their team working on a 3-shift pattern.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide electrical and mechanical support and knowledge on all lines within the plant.
• Perform equipment testing, fault finding, and repairs.
• Fault find and repair PLCs using Allen Bradley and Siemens systems.
• Ensure maximum machine availability at minimum cost through effective planned preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with other engineers and team leaders to focus on achieving planned maintenance hours.
• Work safely, complying with all health and safety regulations.
• Implement a Total Quality approach across the site.

Candidate Requirements

• Time-served Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 qualification in engineering.
• At least 4 years of experience in a multiskilled role, preferably in an FMCG environment.
