Job summary

Evolve Talent Search Ltd in Northampton is seeking an Electrical Day Shift Engineer to join a large, high-profile site. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across building services, respond to faults and support the wider engineering team.

The role requires City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent and 18th Edition; you'll work 6am-6pm or 10am-10pm on a continental day shift, with on-call standby and opportunities for overtime and career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or a similar engineering environment.
• Strong electrical maintenance background.
• Experience working with BMS and PPM/maintenance systems.
• City & Guilds Electrical Installation Level 3 or equivalent.
• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) to maintain plant reliability.
• Responding to reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance issues.
• Diagnosing and rectifying faults across building services systems.

Electrical Day Shift Engineer

Up to £45,000 | Earlies & Lates Shift Pattern

We’re hiring for an Electrical Day Shift Engineer to join the engineering team on a large, high-profile business-critical site in Northampton.

The Electrical Day Shift Engineer will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across the site, responding to faults, completing PPMs and supporting the wider engineering operation. The role will also involve working with subcontractors, responding to client requests and carrying out minor installation and repair works.
