Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for roles across London and the Home Counties. The position involves servicing, maintaining and refurbishing electrical and fire/smoke safety systems from SE London offices and across surrounding areas.

The role requires an electrical maintenance background (Electrician or Electrical Improver), 18th Edition, and ideally NVQ3/2391. You will join a team with on-call duties on a 1 in 8 rota and a company van provided.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance background, either as a fully qualified Electrician or Electrical Improver
• 18th Edition qualification held
• NVQ Level 3 and 2391 Inspection and Testing highly desirable
• Full UK driving licence required
• Commutable distance of Erith, Kent and comfortable travelling across London

Responsibilities

• Completing tests on emergency lighting, fire alarms and life safety systems
• Carrying out general electrical maintenance and remedial works
• Assisting with electrical and mechanical installations as required
• Working across commercial and mixed-use properties in SE London, East London, Kent/Essex
• Participating in an 1 in 8 week on-call rota

We currently have an opportunity available to join a well-established facilities maintenance company who specialise in servicing, maintaining and refurbishing electrical and fire/smoke safety systems across London and the surrounding areas, based from their offices in South-East London.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Job Overview

• Working within a range of commercial and mixed-use properties, mostly across South East London, East London and parts of Kent/Essex

• Basic salary £40,000 - £45,000, depending on experience
• Company van provided
• 33 days holiday, including bank holidays
• Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
• 1 in 8 week on call rota (£150 standby payment)
