Job summary

R&A Consultants Ltd in Central London is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a professional on-site engineering team at a modern commercial facility. The role offers training, progression, specialist electrical courses, and a competitive pension scheme.

You will perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance, fault-find, and ensure compliance and safety across building services.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds / NVQ qualification in Electrical.
• 18th Edition qualification.
• Experience in commercial building services or facilities maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good understanding of commercial electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the commercial building.
• Fault-find and repair electrical systems including lighting, power, emergency lighting, control panels, and building services.
• Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure electrical systems remain safe and fully operational.
• Respond to breakdowns and reactive maintenance requests, diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently.
• Support minor electrical works, remedial repairs, and building services projects where required.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all works meet health & safety and compliance requirements.

Salary: £48,000 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
