Job Description

Our client in Dudley has urgent requirements for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include:

1. Providing electrical maintenance for site facilities, foundry melting and casting equipment, sand mould machines, conveyor systems, bucket elevators, and shot blast machines.
2. Adhering to PPM/TPM schedules and responding to breakdowns.
3. Reading and working from electrical and panel drawings, fault finding down to a component level.
4. PLC fault finding and interrogation to trace back faults.
5. Installation and commissioning of new equipment/machinery.

To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will:

1. Be an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a bias towards heavy industry or manufacturing.
2. Have an electrical qualification (Level 3 or above).
3. Be capable of diagnosing PLC logic faults (Mitsubishi, Siemens, Allen Bradley, Fanuc).
4. Be flexible with overtime due to business needs.

On offer:

• A basic salary of up to £42K.
• A weekly rotating shift pattern: 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm.
• Overtime paid at time + 1/3 midweek and Saturday, time + ½ Sunday.
• 33 days holiday, including bank holidays.
