Join to apply for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer role at NC SAVE$ ENERGY.

This is a permanent opportunity with great prospects at a large heavy process engineering manufacturing site in north Birmingham. The role involves working Monday to Friday day shifts (plus call-outs).

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be part of a maintenance team that operates as a flexible, competent, and multi-skilled unit, focusing on electrical breakdowns and preventative maintenance across the site.

Benefits include a competitive salary, pension, generous bonus, overtime, and a 38.75-hour workweek (7:00-15:30, Monday to Friday), with flexibility for call-outs. Holiday entitlement is 25 days plus bank holidays.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Requirements

• Minimum ONC Electrical or equivalent qualification
• Substantial electrical experience in heavy industry
• Understanding of three-phase control systems
• Experience with drives and inverters
• PLC fault finding and problem diagnosis (not programming)
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical isolation procedures

This role requires a high degree of solo working, so adaptability and accountability are essential skills.
