Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Newcastle-under-Lyme & Whitchurch - Competitive + Benefits

The Job:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a progressive feed production business operating across multiple UK sites. This is a hands-on role involving both pre-planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of animal feed processing machinery, with a focus on maximising operational uptime.
This is a full-time, permanent position reporting to the Engineering Manager, covering two sites in Newcastle-under-Lyme and Whitchurch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing planned preventative maintenance and attending to reactive breakdowns on production machinery
• Supporting capital expenditure and continuous improvement projects
• Working closely with production teams to maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency
• Maintaining 5S standards within engineering work areas
• Utilising CMMS systems to manage maintenance records and tasks

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekly shift pattern:
  • Week 1: 6:00am – 2:00pm
  • Week 2: 8:00am – 4:00pm / 5:00pm
  • Week 3: 2:00pm – 10:00pm

The Candidate:
We are looking for a multi-skilled engineer with solid experience in electrical maintenance, ideally within a manufacturing or food production environment.
Skills & Experience Required:

• Recognised apprenticeship or qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Experience working with electrical energy technology, PLC & Scada systems
• Knowledge of CMMS systems and computer literacy in Word and Excel
• Counter-balance FLT licence advantageous
• Full UK driving licence essential
• Willingness to travel between sites and work rotating shifts and on-call duties as required
