CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a facilities management team at a prestigious law firm in Moorgate, London. You will carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across five tenanted floors, ensuring high standards and client-facing service.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in electrical installation.
• Available to provide electrical trade certificates.
• Experience in commercial building maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across the building.
• Electrical fault finding, diagnosis and repairs.
• Maintain and repair lighting and emergency lighting systems.
• Carry out electrical testing and inspections.
• Monitor and maintain electrical distribution boards and associated equipment.
• Carry out minor electrical installation and remedial works.
• Respond to electrical breakdowns and reactive maintenance requests.
• Monitor and operate BMS systems, identifying and reporting any faults.
• Carry out routine plant room and electrical equipment inspections.
• Assist with general building services maintenance where required.
• Escort and supervise specialist electrical subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate records of completed PPM and reactive works.
• Ensure all works are completed in line with site procedures and health & safety requirements.
• Provide a professional and client-facing service at all times.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – Law Firm – Moorgate, London – £48,000

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join an established facilities management team based at a prestigious commercial building in Moorgate, London, covering five tenanted floors of a well-known law firm.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across the site, ensuring all electrical systems and equipment are maintained to a high standard. You will be working as part of a wider on-site engineering team, providing a professional and reliable maintenance service within a client-facing environment.

Hours of Work

• - Monday to Friday – 07:00–16:00 / 10:00–19:00

Requirements

• - Electrically qualified to City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent (Essential).
• - Candidates must be able to provide copies of their electrical trade certificates.
• - Proven experience within commercial building maintenance / facilities management.
• - Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience.
• - Good understanding of electrical building services and associated systems.
• - Previous experience working within a client-facing environment.
• - Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.
