Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd in Waterloo, London is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a facilities maintenance team in a commercial building. You will cover planned and reactive electrical maintenance, monitor plant and electrical systems, and support the on-site team with lighting, fault finding and inspections.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, with overtime and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified - City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or above (Essential).
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates.
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Multi-skilled.
• Good communication skills.
• Client Facing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Monitor and maintain electrical plant and equipment.
• Electrical fault finding and repairs.
• Lighting – changing lamps, ballasts and fittings.
• Emergency lighting testing and repairs.
• Small power and socket repairs.
• Basic BMS monitoring.
• Carry out electrical checks and inspections.
• Escort specialist subcontractors.
• Assist with other general building maintenance duties as required.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer - FM Service Provider - Commercial Building - Waterloo, London - up to £43,000

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer based in a commercial building in Waterloo, London. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on site.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in electrical building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £43,000, overtime, further training and a potential route into further career progression.
