Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd seeks Electrical Maintenance Engineers to join a Basildon-based on-site team. You will maintain building services within a commercial facility, delivering planned and reactive maintenance to HVAC, lighting, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across building services.
• Maintain and service HVAC systems.
• Perform emergency lighting testing and fire alarm checks.
• Monitor and maintain control panels and carry out ballast changes.
• Water treatment tasks including temperature checks.
• Monitor BMS systems (hot & cold checks).
• Maintain and update logbooks and compliance records.
• Carry out basic plumbing works including unblocking toilets.

Electrical Maintenance Engineers – FM Service Provider – Commercial Building – Basildon, Essex – Up to £40,000 per annum – No Call Out

An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in Basildon, Essex. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for both an Electrical Maintenance Engineer and a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based at a commercial building, working as part of an on‑site maintenance team.

The successful candidates will be electrically qualified with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working alongside a team of 5 engineers, you will be responsible for delivering both planned preventative and reactive maintenance across all building services systems.

Hours of Work:

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 am – 17:00 pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across building services
• Maintain and service HVAC systems
• Perform emergency lighting testing and fire alarm checks
• Monitor and maintain control panels and carry out ballast changes
• Water treatment tasks including temperature checks
• Monitor BMS systems (hot & cold checks)
• Maintain and update logbooks and compliance records
• Carry out basic plumbing works including unblocking toilets
• Maintain pumps and motors
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
