Job summary

Facilitate Search Ltd. is recruiting an experienced M&E Supervisor for two Barking sites, splitting time between hands-on maintenance and supervisory duties. You will lead five operatives and oversee electrical maintenance, compliance, and documentation whilst liaising with the client to sustain strong relationships.

The role includes an on-call rota with a £100 standby payment, plus overtime opportunities, and a clear path to LV Authorised Person through funded training.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified electrician with proven experience in commercial maintenance and facilities management.
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification is essential.
• Gold Card is desirable but not mandatory.
• Experience supervising/leading a maintenance team.
• Strong knowledge of electrical PPM and compliance requirements.
• Willingness to support mechanical and fabric maintenance as needed.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of five maintenance operatives across two sites in Barking.
• Manage and complete electrical PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Support general mechanical and fabric maintenance when required.
• Ensure statutory compliance and complete maintenance documentation accurately.
• Coordinate workloads and support the wider engineering team.
• Liaise directly with the client and maintain strong working relationships.
• Provide hands-on technical support and day-to-day supervision.
