Job summary

Hawkes Resourcing Group are recruiting an M&E Project Manager for an established building services business in Brentwood, Essex. You will manage allocated mechanical and electrical projects from instruction through to completion, coordinating with clients, designers, site teams and subcontractors.

An electrical bias is preferred; mechanical knowledge helps cover full scope. You will drive programmes, manage risks, ensure safety and quality, and maintain clear records for handover at project end.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering M&E projects.
• Able to manage programmes, site activity and subcontractors.
• Strong client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Planning and monitoring project programmes, resources, costs and progress.
• Coordinating design information, technical queries, approvals and information issued to site.
• Arranging materials, plant and subcontractors, and monitoring their delivery and performance.
• Identifying risks, delays, variations and changes to scope, with clear records and timely escalation.
• Supporting payment applications and reviewing supplier and subcontractor accounts.
• Reviewing RAMS, carrying out site inspections and maintaining health and safety compliance.
• Checking installation quality and managing defects and snags through to completion.
• Coordinating testing, commissioning, certification, project documentation and final handover.
• Acting as the main day-to-day contact for clients and providing regular project updates.
