Job summary

Mark May is seeking a Project Manager (Mechanical Bias) to lead and deliver commercial mechanical and M&E projects across London and the Southeast from Ipswich-based office with regular travel. You will manage site teams, drive HSE compliance, control costs and ensure quality and timely delivery for a robust project portfolio.

The role requires a strong mechanical background, 10+ years of project experience, and excellent communication with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project experience in mechanical construction/M&E
• 8+ years in mechanical background (HVAC)
• Strong PM skills with site teams and subcontractors
• Experience with HSE, quality and contractual requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mechanical and M&E projects (£100K-£2M)
• Oversee engineers, site teams and subcontractors across multiple projects
• Plan, cost control, variations and resource management
• Maintain client relationships and stakeholder management
• Ensure safety, quality and timely delivery across sites
• Travel weekly to sites across London and the Southeast
• Support tender processes and project reviews
