Job summary

CDM Recruitment Ltd is assisting established and growing M&E contractors in recruiting a Mechanical Project Manager to cover the North East and Yorkshire. You will take responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover, coordinating engineers, site teams and suppliers.

Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC and plumbing), proven management experience across commercial, education, healthcare or retail schemes, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within Building Services
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC and plumbing
• Experience delivering Commercial, Education, Healthcare or Retail projects is highly desirable
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Good commercial and organisational awareness
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical projects from planning through to completion
• Lead engineers, supervisors and subcontractors
• Manage programmes, budgets and resources
• Oversee procurement and subcontractor management
• Liaise with clients, consultants and project stakeholders
• Carry out regular site visits and progress meetings
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
• Monitor quality and provide regular project updates to senior management
