Job summary

Kier Group is seeking an Electrical Lead to join the Thames AMP8/AMP9 Portfolio team across the Thames Water Region. You will provide electrical design authority for the portfolio and deliver a £150M+ capital programme, including major treatment upgrades.

This role offers leadership within the Engineering Leadership Team and growth in-house electrical capability. You'll mentor engineers, ensure HV/LV standards, and coordinate with partners and the ICA Lead.

Qualifications

• HV/LV and design authority in water/utilities sectors.
• Strong knowledge of BS 7671 (18th Edition).
• Experience with CDM 2015 designer obligations.
• Knowledge of MCC, RTU design and PLC/SCADA interfaces.
• Hold a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• HV/LV electrical design sign-off across active schemes.
• Coordinate electrical output with ICA Lead and supply chain partners.
• Discharge CDM duties and contribute to safety initiatives.
• Mentor electrical engineers and develop competency framework.
• Support DfMA initiatives and attend governance meetings.
