Job summary

Find. is seeking an Electrical Instructor to deliver practical and classroom-based training to apprentices and engineers across multiple sites in the region.

The role focuses on a range of electrical short courses including 18th Edition / BS 7671 and inspection & testing. Strong hands-on electrical industry experience and a Level 3 electrical qualification are required, with the company offering full funding to support you through a teaching qualification and a salary progression after

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on electrical industry experience.
• Level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of electrical installation and/or maintenance.
• Experience with areas such as 18th Edition, inspection & testing, safe isolation or electrical maintenance.
• Confidence communicating your knowledge to others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical and classroom-based training to apprentices and existing engineers.
• Deliver a range of electrical short courses including 18th Edition / BS 7671, Inspection & Testing / 2391, Basic Electrical Maintenance, PAT Testing, Safe Isolation, Health & Safety.
• Work across a small number of training sites within the region.
• Support learners through the teaching qualification when funded.

Are you an experienced Electrician or Electrical Engineer who fancies getting off the tools without leaving the electrical industry behind?

Or are you already an Electrical Trainer, Tutor or Lecturer looking for a role focused on delivering technical short courses?

I'm recruiting for a training provider looking for an Electrical Instructor to join their team, delivering practical and classroom-based training to apprentices and existing engineers.

The Role

You'll deliver a range of electrical short courses, including:

• 18th Edition / BS 7671
• Inspection & Testing / 2391
• Basic Electrical Maintenance
• PAT Testing
• Safe Isolation
• Health & Safety
• Other electrical and engineering short courses depending on your experience

The role will involve working across a small number of the provider's training sites within the region.

If you've got strong electrical experience but no teaching qualification, the company will fully fund and support you through your teaching qualification, with your salary increasing once qualified.

Working Hours & Package:

• £39,000 starting salary
• Rising to £41,000 once teaching qualified
• Teaching qualification fully funded
• Monday-Friday
• 8:00am - 4:30pm
• 27 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
