Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is looking for an experienced Electrical Installation professional to become an Electrical Installation Lecturer in Doncaster. You will deliver across Levels 1, 2 and 3, combining practical workshop sessions with classroom theory to support 16-18 learners and some adult learners.

Full teacher training is available through the Trade to Teach route, with strong progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification.
• Experience within the Electrical Installation industry.
• Ideally experienced across domestic and commercial installation.
• 18th Edition and Inspection & Testing / 2391 desirable.
• Teaching, assessor, or IQA qualifications desirable but not essential.
• Confident delivering technical knowledge in front of learners.
• Strong team player with a proactive and driven approach.
• Passion for supporting and developing the next generation of electricians.

As an Electrical Installation Lecturer, you'll deliver Electrical Installation across Levels 1, 2, and 3, teaching both practical workshop sessions and classroom-based theory. You'll work mainly with 16-18 learners, alongside some adult learners, supporting students as they develop the technical skills, confidence, and knowledge required to succeed within the electrical industry.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Electrical Installation professional with strong technical knowledge and the confidence to deliver in front of a class. You must hold a Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification and ideally have experience across both domestic and commercial installation. Previous teaching experience is desirable but not essential, as full support is available through the Trade to Teach route, internal teacher training, and ongoing CPD.

The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set and will be decided by our client, the employer.
