Job summary

Find Recruitment Group LTD is seeking an experienced Electrician/ Electrical Engineer to transition into a training career, delivering practical and classroom-based courses to apprentices and engineers. The role focuses on electrical short courses across regional sites.

You will lead training on 18th Edition, inspection & testing, and maintenance, with the company fully funding your teaching qualification and offering a salary progression once qualified.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on electrical industry experience.
• Level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of electrical installation and/or maintenance.
• Experience with 18th Edition, inspection & testing, safe isolation or electrical maintenance.
• Confidence communicating your knowledge to others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of electrical short courses to apprentices and engineers.
• Teach practical and classroom-based training across regional sites.
• Support learners and assess progress as needed.

Are you an experienced Electrician or Electrical Engineer who fancies getting off the tools without leaving the electrical industry behind?

Or are you already an Electrical Trainer, Tutor or Lecturer looking for a role focused on delivering technical short courses?

I m recruiting for a training provider looking for an Electrical Instructor to join their team, delivering practical and classroom-based training to apprentices and existing engineers.

The Role

You ll deliver a range of electrical short courses, including:

• 18th Edition / BS 7671
• Inspection & Testing / 2391
• Basic Electrical Maintenance
• PAT Testing
• Safe Isolation
• Health & Safety
• Other electrical and engineering short courses depending on your experience

The role will involve working across a small number of the provider s training sites within the region.

If you ve got strong electrical experience but no teaching qualification, the company will fully fund and support you through your teaching qualification, with your salary increasing once qualified.

Working Hours & Package

• £39,000 starting salary
• Rising to £41,000 once teaching qualified
• Teaching qualification fully funded
• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am 4:30pm
• 27 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
