Job summary

Leicester City Council is hiring for an Electrical Installation role based across Leicester City. The post is full time, 37 hours per week, permanent, with a market supplement up to £2,566 per year and a salary of £32,061–£34,434.

The role offers a structured day, with start times around 8am and time to complete a standard week, plus options for compressed hours and paid holiday. Training and upskilling are supported, and a vehicle and PPE are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and City & Guilds 18th Edition BS7671.
• Must have Testing and Inspection 2391/52.
• Full valid driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation tasks at various sites across Leicester City.
• Follow health and safety standards and wear PPE provided.
• Work 37 hours per week with potential overtime as required.
