Working closely with the Course Leader and wider curriculum team, you will deliver both practical workshop sessions and classroom-based learning, ensuring students develop the skills, knowledge and confidence required for success in the electrical industry. You will contribute to curriculum development, student recruitment activities and learner support, helping students achieve their full potential and positive progression outcomes. You will be passionate about developing the next generation of skilled electrical professionals and committed to delivering an outstanding learner experience. Whether you are an experienced lecturer or currently working within the electrical installation industry and looking to move into education, you will bring strong technical knowledge, enthusiasm and a learner-focused approach. You will have relevant industry experience in Electrical Installation and a Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification or equivalent. A teaching qualification is desirable, although support will be provided to achieve a teaching qualification where required. You will also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate, challenge and support learners from a range of backgrounds to achieve their goals. Working collaboratively with colleagues, employers and students, you will be committed to maintaining high standards of teaching, assessment and learner support. An understanding of current electrical principles, industry practices and legislation will enable you to deliver engaging theory and practical sessions that prepare learners for successful careers in the electrical industry.
