Job summary

Heart of Yorkshire Education Group seeks a passionate Lecturer in Electrical Installation to join the Construction Department and inspire the next generation of electricians. You will teach level 2 and level 3 learners, including apprentices, in both workshop and classroom settings, using real-life industry experience to bring the trade to life.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths Level 2 or equivalent.
• Level 3 or higher qualification in Electrical Installation.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach level 2 and level 3 Electrical Installation students (16–18 and apprentices) in workshops and classrooms.
• Share industry expertise to bring the subject to life and empower learners to reach their potential.
• Contribute to planning, assessment, and student support within the department.

Are you ready to spark change and shape future electricians? We are looking for a passionate and skilled Lecturer in Electrical Installation to join our dynamic Electrical Installation Team within the Construction Department.

This is more than just a teaching role – it is a chance to empower learners, share your industry expertise, and help young people build a bright and successful future in the electrical trade.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Lecturer for Electrical Installation, you’ll work with level 2 and level 3 students, both 16-18 study programme learners and apprentices inspiring them to reach their full potential. Your real-life experience and enthusiasm for the trade will help bring the subject to life in the workshop and the classroom.

About you must:

• hold GCSE A*- C / 9 – 4 or Level 2 equivalent in English and Maths
• have an interest in supporting students within an educational environment.
• be qualified to Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• excellent communication and organisational skills
