Job summary

Sunderland College is inviting expressions of interest from experienced electricians who may wish to move into teaching. The role involves delivering Electrical Installation up to Level 3, combining theory with practical sessions, and supporting students’ progress.

Applicants may be new to teaching but will be supported to obtain a teaching qualification within the first two years. The post is full-time with a clear development pathway and benefits within EPNE.

Qualifications

• Must have strong practical and theoretical knowledge of Electrical Installation.
• Experience sharing industry knowledge with students is desirable.
• Willingness to train to achieve teaching qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Electrical Installation up to Level 3 with classroom and workshop learning.
• Contribute to curriculum development and schemes of work.
• Support students’ progress and assessment activities.
