Job summary

South Thames College is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation lecturer to deliver outstanding teaching, learning, assessment and tutorial support to students, maximise achievement and drive continual improvement. You will help develop the curriculum, engage with employers and support learner skills development.

You’ll implement innovative teaching, deliver lessons across lectures, coursework, practicals and field work within Electrical Installation, meeting high standards and supporting

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification or working towards it.
• Electrical Installation qualification.
• Recent UK FE college teaching experience in Electrical Installation.
• Proven ability to plan engaging lessons and deliver high-quality teaching.
• Experience in assessing, tracking and supporting student progress with strong classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching, learning, assessment and tutorial support in Electrical Installation.
• Deliver lectures, set/mark coursework, practicals and field work.
• Support curriculum development, employer engagement and learner skills development.
• Differentiate teaching to meet diverse learner needs and manage deadlines.
