DN Colleges Group is seeking an Electrical Installation Lecturer to join the Engineering team and inspire learners across Electrical Installation programmes. You will deliver high-quality teaching, provide pastoral support, and embed English and Maths within vocational learning to boost student success.
Open to experienced lecturers or industry professionals moving into teaching; we may support a teaching qualification if needed.
Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or related discipline.
- Minimum Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
- Excellent subject knowledge of Electrical Installation programmes and industry practices.
- Ability to deliver engaging learning experiences and motivate learners.
- Commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion, with strong communication and team-working skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment across Electrical Installation programmes.
- Act as a Programme Tutor, providing academic and pastoral support to a designated caseload.
- Monitor student progress, attendance and achievement, maintaining accurate records.
- Develop engaging learning experiences using a range of teaching methodologies and technologies.
- Embed English and Maths within vocational learning to support student success.
- Build links with industry partners to enhance curriculum delivery and progression.
- Contribute to curriculum development, quality improvement activities and recruitment events.
- Promote a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment for student wellbeing.
