DN Colleges Group is seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Installation Lecturer to join our Engineering team, delivering high-quality education across Electrical Installation programmes and inspiring learners to reach their potential.

The role supports progression through industry-aligned teaching methods, with opportunities to mentor students, engage with employers and shape curriculum quality while working in a welcoming, safeguarded environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
• Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of Electrical Installation programmes and industry practices.
• Ability to deliver engaging learning experiences and motivate students to achieve their potential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment across Electrical Installation programmes.
• Act as a Programme Tutor, providing academic and pastoral support to a designated caseload of students.
• Monitor student progress, attendance and achievement, maintaining accurate records and assessment information.
• Develop innovative and engaging learning experiences using a range of teaching methodologies and learning technologies.
• Embed English and Maths within vocational learning to support student success.
• Build and maintain strong links with industry partners to enhance curriculum delivery and progression opportunities.
• Contribute to curriculum development, quality improvement activities and student recruitment events including Open Days and information sessions.
• Promote a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment that supports student achievement and wellbeing.
