Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Lecturer in Electrical Installation to deliver practical and classroom-based sessions in Blackpool. The role starts as an 8-week contract with a clear route to a permanent position and a £40,000 salary on permanent employment.

Full training will be provided for those transitioning from industry. Initial pay is £35-£40 per hour during the temporary period, with opportunities to go temp-to-perm and progress into a lecturer role with ongoing development

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Electrical Installation (domestic/commercial/industrial).
• Relevant industry qualification (Level 3 or time-served equivalent).
• Willing to move into training; no teaching qualification required initially.

Are you an experienced Electrician / Electrical Installation Engineer looking to come off the tools and move into a stable, rewarding career in education?

An established training provider in Blackpool is looking for a Lecturer in Electrical Installation to join them on an initial 8-week temporary contract, with a clear route to a permanent role paying £40,000. Full training and support will be provided for candidates transitioning from industry (no prior teaching experience required).

The Role

• Deliver practical and classroom-based sessions across Electrical Installation
• Support learners working toward industry-recognised qualifications
• Help prepare learners for real-world site expectations, safe working practices, and best-practice installation standards
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback in a supportive learning environment

The Person (Ideal)

• Proven hands-on experience in Electrical Installation (domestic / commercial / industrial)
• Relevant industry qualification (e.g., Level 3 or time-served equivalent)
• Keen to move into training/education and mentor the next generation
• No teaching qualification needed initially - training will be provided
