Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer for an immediately available contract at a Doncaster college. You will deliver high-quality teaching and practical training to apprentices, assess progress, and mentor learners toward NVQ and apprenticeship standards.

Are you an experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer, Trainer or Assessor looking for your next immediately available contract role?

Do you have experience within Further Education, apprenticeships or technical training-or are you a hands-on Electrical Installation professional looking to move into training and pass on your knowledge?

On offer is a long-term contract within a well-established college, supporting apprentices and learners working towards their qualifications. You'll deliver high-quality teaching and practical training, carry out assessments, provide coaching and mentoring, and help learners achieve their full potential.

This role would suit someone with lecturing/training experience who is looking for a stable, rewarding position in an established education setting.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging teaching and practical training in Electrical Installation


• Assess and support apprentices working towards NVQ and apprenticeship standards


• Coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to learners


• £40 - £55 per hour | 6-12 months | Doncaster-based

The Person:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation


• Current or previous industry experience in Electrical Installation (or closely related sector)


• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, Level 5 DET) and/or assessing qualifications (TAQA, A1/D32/D33) preferred, but not essential


• Experience lecturing, training or assessing apprentices (advantageous)


• Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
