Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer for an immediate contract role at a well-established college in Essex. You will deliver engaging theory and practical training to learners aiming for NVQ and apprenticeship standards.

You will assess apprentices, provide coaching and mentoring, and help learners reach their full potential. A prior lecturing background is preferred, with DBS and safeguarding as part of responsibilities.

• Experience delivering electrical installation teaching or training.
• Experience assessing apprentices to NVQ/ apprenticeship standards is advantageous.
• Ability to coach, mentor and provide constructive feedback to learners.

40 - 55 per hour Inside IR35

3 months Rolling (Potential full curriculum year)

Are you an experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer, Trainer or Assessor looking for your next looking for your next immediately available contract role?

Do you have experience working within further education, apprenticeships, or technical training, or are you an experienced Electrical Installation professional ready to pass on your knowledge?

You'll support apprentices and learners working towards their qualifications by delivering high-quality teaching, carrying out workplace assessments, providing coaching and mentoring, and helping learners achieve their full potential.

This role would suit someone with previous Lecturing experience who is looking for a position within a well-established college

The Role:

• Deliver engaging teaching and practical training in the Electrical Installation sector
• Assess and support apprentices working towards NVQ and apprenticeship standards
• Coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to learners
• 40 - 55 per hour Inside IR35
• 3 months Rolling (Potential full curriculum year)

The Person:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
• Current or previous industry experience working in Electrical Installation or similar industries
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training) and/or TAQA, A1/D32/D33 preferred, although not essential
• Experience delivering training, lecturing, or assessing apprentices is advantageous
• Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
