Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Electrical Installation Lecturer in Nottingham for a 6-12 month contract, with immediate start. The role covers teaching and workplace-based support, delivering theory and practical sessions aligned to NVQ and apprenticeship standards.

You'll assess learners, coach and give feedback to help progression. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation is required; teaching qualification is preferred but not essential. DBS check is required.

Are you an experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer, Tutor, Trainer or Assessor looking for your next immediately available contract role, offering a long-term 6-12 month assignment within a well-established college?

Do you have experience within Further Education, apprenticeships or technical training, or are you an Electrical Installation professional with strong industry experience looking to move into education and pass on your knowledge to the next generation?

On offer is the opportunity to support apprentices and learners working towards their qualifications through high-quality delivery and assessment, with a role covering both teaching and workplace-based support depending on programme needs.

You will deliver engaging theory and practical sessions, carry out assessments aligned to NVQ and apprenticeship standards, and provide coaching and constructive feedback to help learners progress and achieve.

This role would suit an Electrical Installation professional or Lecturer looking for a long-term contract position where you can make a real impact within a supportive education environment.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging teaching and practical training within Electrical Installation
• Assess and support apprentices working towards NVQ and apprenticeship standards

• 6-12 month contract in Nottingham
• 40 - 55 per hour

The Person:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
• Industry experience within Electrical Installation (or closely related sector)
• Teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed/Level 5 DET) and/or assessing awards (TAQA/A1/D32/D33) preferred but not essential
• Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check

The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set.
