Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd in Northamptonshire is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Assessor, NVQ Assessor or Apprenticeship Assessor for a long-term 6-12 month contract role with an immediate start. The role focuses on workplace assessment and learner progression, supporting apprentices toward NVQ and apprenticeship standards.

You will carry out assessments and observations in the workplace, gather evidence, track progress and provide coaching to ensure timely achievement.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Industry experience within Electrical Installation.
• Assessing qualification (TAQA/A1/D32/D33) preferred but not essential.
• Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Assess and support apprentices working towards NVQ and apprenticeship standards in Electrical Installation.
• Carry out workplace observations, reviews and progress meetings.
• Coach, mentor and provide constructive feedback to learners.
• Maintain clear records/evidence to support learner achievement.
• 6-12 month contract in Nottingham.

£40 - £55 per hour + 6 - 12 Month Contract + Immediate Start + Long-Term Opportunity

Northampton, Northamptonshire (Commutable from: Wellingborough, Kettering, Daventry, Towcester, Rugby, Market Harborough, Milton Keynes)

Are you an experienced Electrical Installation Assessor, NVQ Assessor or Apprenticeship Assessor looking for your next immediately available contract role, offering a long-term 6-12 month assignment within a well-established college? Do you have experience assessing apprentices against NVQ and apprenticeship standards, or are you an Electrical Installation professional with strong industry experience and assessing exposure looking to move into a role focused on supporting learners through to completion? On offer is the opportunity to support apprentices and learners working towards their qualifications through workplace assessment, reviews and structured feedback, helping learners progress and achieve their full potential. You will carry out assessments and observations in the workplace, gather evidence, track progress against standards, and provide coaching and constructive feedback to ensure timely achievement. This role would suit an Electrical Installation professional or qualified Assessor looking for a long-term contract position where you can focus on assessment and learner progression within a supportive education environment.

The Role:
