Job summary

Office Owls Recruitment Limited is seeking an Electrical Test & Inspector for the Glasgow area to perform EICRs in commercial/industrial environments. The role emphasizes compliance with BS 7671, detailed reporting, and client communication.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years EICR experience, City & Guilds 2391-52, NVQ Level 3, and 18th Edition. A UK driving licence and ability to travel between sites are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience carrying out EICRs.
• City & Guilds 2391-52 or equivalent in Inspection and Testing.
• NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations.
• Valid UK driving licence and ability to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in commercial/industrial settings.
• Inspect and test electrical systems, wiring, switchgear and control equipment.
• Identify defects, non-compliances and safety hazards with clear reporting.
• Provide recommendations for remedial actions and maintain records.
• Ensure work complies with BS 7671 and IET Regulations.
