Job summary

Guardian Electrical Compliance Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to join our Glasgow team. You will conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across commercial and industrial sites, ensuring compliance with BS 7671 and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical inspection or a related field.
City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.
NVQ Level 3 Qualification.
IET BS7671:2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes.
Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough EICRs in commercial and industrial settings.
Identify and report defects, safety hazards, and non-compliance issues.
Provide clear, detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
Stay up to date with BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and industry best practices.
Communicate findings effectively with clients and offer expert technical advice.
Ensure safety protocols and company standards are always followed.
